About the Founder

Aaron first discovered his passion for advising others at the age of ten years old when he began tutoring across a variety of subjects. For the next decade, Aaron continued tutoring others and eventually also began consulting on the college admissions process. He attended and graduated from Cornell University, Phi Beta Kappa, with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Concentration in Creative Writing.

At Cornell, Aaron served as a tour guide, Residential Advisor, member of the Theater Troupe “Anything Goes”, and the Cornell University Mock Trial Association, winning awards as both a competing witness and an attorney.

As a Visiting Student at the University of Oxford, he received First Class Marks. In his senior year of college, Aaron was admitted to nine of the top ten law schools to which he applied; he received merit-based scholarships to nearly all of these schools, including full tuition scholarships to the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Virginia. He ultimately matriculated at Harvard Law School.

Aaron then deferred his law school admission to work as a legal recruiter at a boutique recruiting agency, where he trained under two highly seasoned legal headhunters as the firm’s Litigation lead. His intention was to gain a nuanced understanding of the paths that litigators take in their careers both in the short-term and long-term. In his role as an executive recruiter, Aaron interviewed and assisted hundreds of attorneys in the recruiting process, placing attorneys at top AmLaw 100 law firms throughout the country and internationally. He also focused on multiple niche in-house counsel opportunities as reflected on this website’s Results section. It was in this capacity as an advocate for others that Aaron fell in love with the world of legal recruiting specifically.

At Harvard Law School, Aaron served as a Peer Advisor of Harvard Law School’s Career Services Office where he guided law school students in law firm hiring and general career trajectory decision-making. He also served as a member of Harvard Defenders and the Criminal Justice Institute.

Upon graduation, Aaron began his litigation career in Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom’s New York Mass Torts, Consumer Litigation, and Insurance Practice Group and represented clients like the National Hockey League and Johnson & Johnson. He then clerked for the Honorable Paul G. Byron in Orlando, Florida. During his federal clerkship, Aaron connected with Morgan & Morgan executives, who initially tried to hire him as a Trial Attorney. Upon learning about the Firm’s aggressive hiring needs, Aaron insisted that he recruit for the Firm instead as the Senior Director of Attorney Talent Acquisition. The rest is history.
